I've never had any trouble with Acronis True Image been using it for years. Sounds like a bad SSD, I'd return it if it is new. No clue we. The producs crashes, hangs, has not a very good gui, and worst of all; it doesn't do the job. I am not able to backup at all. I am really. So if I'm just using it as a new SSD and not adding any files to it, there really isn't any other use for it? Trust me, Acronis is nice software.

If you like this article then why not link to it from your site! Backups from True Image always finished without error or warning, and verify did not report any errors either. I am not sure whether this tool would have helped in my case, as my laptop refused to recognise the original Windows 7 installation disk, but it would have given me another avenue to explore.
